Eventually he became a liaison to Wakanda and protected the country from the U.S.'s attempts at stealing vibranium. After being arrested for treason, Ross was freed by the Midnight Angels. He is captured once more by Skrulls who impersonate him. Since then he has regained his identity and started working for the State Department, using the events to pardon himself.
